The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) has extended the ability for school districts to offer free meals to children eighteen years of age and younger residing in the District. This extension applies to all students, regardless the manner of instruction being delivered (in-person, remote or hybrid) and lasts until 6/30/2021 to the extent that federal and state funding allows. The District is serving meals both in the school cafeterias, as well as from the west entrance of the High School for those children not in attendance on any given school day.
