2023/2024 Districtwide Committee Application
Our district embraces a shared decision-making approach which involves all constituencies, parents, staff, and administrators in discussing matters that will have an impact on our students and our district, now, and in the future. We encourage parents and community members to avail themselves of the opportunity to be selected to participate on the districtwide committees we establish throughout the school year.
Our goal is to establish a districtwide pool of volunteers who are willing to participate on districtwide committees. It is important to have balanced committees representing a cross section of our entire community.
When a new or existing committee convenes throughout the school year, we often need parents and/or community members to round out the committee and this is the list that we use to invite participants. Depending on the number of applications we receive each year, it is best to note that your application is not a guarantee to be on a committee. Further, your application must be renewed at the beginning of each year to stay current. The application is available on our website under the tab “Our District” and then under “Committees.” When the need arises for a districtwide committee to be convened, applications will be reviewed by the appointed chairperson and relevant district personnel, and you will be contacted when your service is needed.
If interested, please complete the attached application to serve on such committees and submit it to the district office to the attention of Lisa M. Belz, Ed.D., Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction. (For your convenience, the application may be emailed to pamela.rosand@eischools.org ) The deadline for receipt of these applications will be Friday, October 13, 2023.
Solicitud de Comité de todo el Distrito 2023/2024
Nuestro distrito adopta un enfoque de toma de decisiones compartida que involucra a todos los constituyentes, padres, personal y administradores en la discusión de asuntos que tendrán un impacto en nuestros estudiantes y nuestro distrito, ahora y en el futuro. Alentamos a los padres y miembros de la comunidad a aprovechar la oportunidad de ser seleccionados para participar en los comités del distrito que establecemos durante el año escolar.
Nuestro objetivo es establecer un grupo de voluntarios en todo el distrito que estén dispuestos a participar en los comités de todo el distrito. Es importante tener comités equilibrados que representen una muestra representativa de toda nuestra comunidad.
Cuando un comité nuevo o existente se reúne durante el año escolar, a menudo necesitamos a los padres y/o miembros de la comunidad para completar el comité y esta es la lista que usamos para invitar a los participantes. Dependiendo de la cantidad de solicitudes que recibamos cada año, es mejor tener en cuenta que su solicitud no es una garantía para estar en un comité. Además, su solicitud debe renovarse al comienzo de cada año para mantenerse actualizada. La solicitud está disponible en nuestro sitio web en la pestaña "Nuestro distrito" y luego en "Comités". Cuando surja la necesidad de convocar un comité de todo el distrito, el presidente designado y el personal pertinente del distrito revisarán las solicitudes, y se comunicarán con usted cuando se necesiten sus servicios.
Si está interesado, complete la solicitud adjunta para servir en dichos comités y envíela a la oficina del distrito a la atención de Lisa M.
